Gennessy Martinez Photography Blog – Miami Wedding Photographer

Vero and Rick got engaged recently and were itching to shoot their engagement photos in an off beat location. What better place than a carnival? This shoot was really inspired by their fun loving, positive personalities. These two are a ton of fun to be around and I can’t wait until their wedding in Miami Beach next February.

Early this month, I had the pleasure of inviting Jonathan Canlas to visit Miami for a one on one workshop with me and Ozzy.  Jonathan is by far one of my biggest inspirations, not only because of his wedding photography, but also for his personal work. I spent an amazing two days learning from him, watching him shoot, and seeing him experience Miami, leaving me more inspired and excited about the future. Kiki and Andrei are so sweet and in love with each other – they were truly the perfect couple. I could not have taken a bad shot of these two.  I cannot thank you guys enough for joining us.

Marilyn and Steve had their first date in Coral Gables, so it was only fitting that we went there to shoot their engagement photos. Later we went to a golf course near their home and had to try to not to get hit by driving range golf balls or get kicked out of the course while we got our shots! Here are a few shoots from our day trying to beat the rain. These two are so much fun to be around.

I recently enjoyed an afternoon at Janine and Luis’s engagement party. I was able to capture a few shots of them before their party. These two are having a Fall 2011 wedding in Savannah, GA.

Sunday morning I headed out to South Beach and the Miami Design District to shoot Avi and Lenny’s engagement photos. I had a blast with these two. Looking forward to your Casa Marina, Key West wedding!
